“Owning our own business seemed somewhat far-fetched until 2020 turned the world upside down; so we did what any sensible adult would do. In December of that year, we left our jobs, sold our home (and most of its contents) and spent the next 8 months touring the USA in our 5th wheel RV. It was awesome… but it had to end. Buying a B&B was our next adventure, and the road to owning a small business proved a little rocky. Rick provided a steady hand and was super supportive throughout the process. We are grateful to finally be in Vermont as the new owners of the North Shire Lodge. ”
